Inspiring the next generation of SFC Music Ministry Leaders!

Our Youth Choir ministers praise & worship, contemporary, and traditionally sacred music to meet the needs of all the parishioners who attend the Mass. The youth rehearse and minister music on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays of the month from the 3rd week of August through July. This choir is open to high school teens, who have a calling to help lead our Parish Family in song and have been blessed with the gift of song or playing a musical instrument which is geared to enchance Liturgical Worship.

Christmas, Easter, and Confirmation Masses are combined with ALJN Ensemble and will require one potluck and rehearsal.

  • Share your gifts with the parish family
  • Learn the intricacies of liturgical music
  • Learn to lead and inspire our congregation to praise the Lord in song
  • Learn to truly "Be" an instrument of His Peace

It is of utmost importance to dress modestly. When we step forward, onto the right side of the sanctuary and become a minister, it is important that we are not a distraction to those focusing their attention on the Lord.

Please ask yourself these questions:
  • Who am I dressing for?
  • Who am I going to worship
To help aid you in modest dress, consider these tips:
  • Easiest vocal and musician rule of thumb: Orchestra Attire
  • Black dress pants, black shoes, and socks
  • White or black collared shirt, short sleeves or longer - NO TANK TOPS
  • A black or white jacket, blazer, or sweater may be worn with the above
  • Clothing needs to cover shoulders, chest, stomach, back, thighs, and knees!
  • Dresses and skirts MUST BE at the knee or lower
  • Dress pants need to cover entire derrier, NO leggings, jeggings or skinny slacks/jeans, low risers, glitter belts, hair accessories, or abnormal hair color
  • Capri's are acceptable as long as they meet the above pant requirements
